Deputy Michele Napoli was in Cesena yesterday preparing the boxes. Domenico Toscano and his staff are already vacating the apartments in Romagna to move to Sicily.
Toscano is already in Catania and from there he signed the termination of the contract with Cavalluccio electronically in order to then officially become the coach of the Etna club.
Domenico Toscano has already met the Catania management to whom he will be linked for the next two years, plus a third in the event of promotion to Serie B, practically the same contract signed in Cesena in 2022 by virtue of which, with promotion to Serie B, he is the extension until 2025 has been triggered.
The agreement reached with sporting director Fabio artigianato for the termination of the relationship also includes a good exit agreed in a figure of around 70 thousand euros. The curtain then finally falls on the Toscano era, he leaves the black and white colors after a triumphal season made up of record numbers and, above all, the promotion to Serie B, long awaited by the Cesena fans.
Without forgetting the C Super Cup won in the championship round, the classic icing on an already very succulent cake.
Toscano’s arrival in Catania was greeted with understandable enthusiasm. Enthusiasm that had already been evident for days when there was still no agreement between the parties.
The Sicilian supporters are already dreaming of a season as protagonists and above all that Toscano can repeat at the foot of Etna what he achieved not only in Cesena but, previously, also in Terni, Novara and Reggio Calabria.
