A path that is anything but easy, that of Jannik Sinner a Wimbledon: this is the verdict of the main draw draw which was held today at 11:00 am Italian time atAll England Club London. A tricky opponent will be there from the first round for the world number one, who will start his adventure as the first seeding favourite against the German Yannick Hanfmann. The two players have already met in a first round Slam, at the US Open last year, and the Italian prevailed in three sets. In the second round, the possibility of a derby with Matthew Berrettiniwho will instead debut against Marton Fucsovics. However, there will be no final with Carlos Alcaraz: the two ended up on the same side of the scoreboard and will be able to meet in the semi-final. In the last act Jannik could instead find Novak Djokovic.
From Griekspoor to Medvedev: so many pitfalls
In the possible third round Sinner could encounter another client who is very uncomfortable on the grass: the Dutchman Tallon Greek trackwho has already put the South Tyrolean in difficulty in Halle. A possible eighth-final could see Jannik engaged against the American, Ben Shelton, who, even if coming back from a not so positive period, is a surface specialist. So possibly Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals, before the semi-final that would take place Carlos Alcaraz. Novak Djokovic he is on the other side of the scoreboard and the challenge with the Serbian could only take place in the final.
