FALCONARA MARITTIMA – Three separate strikes, at different times, but always with the same objective, namely the “Cambi-Serrani” Scientific High School of Falconara Marittima. The investigative activity of the city police has thus made it possible to trace the person responsible, a 47-year-old already domiciled in Rimini, who will have to answer for the crime of aggravated theft.
Between 31 December 2023 and 7 February 2024, the man had entered the institute three times, always forcing a bathroom window. Then, once inside the school complex, he also broke into the food and drink vending machine, taking away a total sum of around 275 euros. Having acquired the images of the video surveillance system of the school and of the Municipality of Falconara Marittima (in particular those of the town center and the railway station), the soldiers managed to put a face to the man, ascertaining that he had arrived in the city centre, by train, bringing with him a bicycle used for his travels. A detail that made it clear that it wasn’t a local person.
Having extrapolated the identikit and with the necessary comparisons carried out by the specialized personnel of the Scientific Investigations Section of the operational department of the Carabinieri Provincial Command of Ancona, the carabinieri managed to trace the identity of the forty-seven year old. A subsequent observation service carried out in the city of Rimini by the Carabinieri of the Falconara Marittima Tenenza, allowed us to recognise, with certainty and without a shadow of a doubt, the perpetrator of the three thefts, who was also specialized in similar episodes and who, at the time of the facts, he was also subjected to personal precautionary measures.
