Porto Santo Stefano (Grosseto). May 31st the Democratic Party celebrated “with a very well attended event“, the reasons and the opportunities that the presence of the Casa della Salute will bring to the Argentario area and beyond.
“The community house represents a piece of what will be the Tuscan model of territorial medicine, that is, an interconnected network of proximity and continuity for the citizen – continues the note from the Monte Argentario Democratic Party –. The community house will represent the single point of access for citizens, where they will find answers to their health, social and welfare needs. The Tuscany Region is implementing social and health integration so in the community home we will find general practitioners, community nurses, social workers and even psychologists, given the regional law which establishes the basic psychologist. Furthermore, local specialists will be present. All services which are now largely provided in structures physically distant from our Municipality and will be at the service not only of the Argentario, but also of the surrounding area”.
“The community house is built through the dialogue of the local health authority and the mayors of the area: this is obviously fundamental because in this way the socio-health needs of the catchment area can be highlighted even better – points out the Democratic Party –. One of the strengths of the community house will be the care of chronic patients, the number of which is destined to increase due to the inversion of the demographic pyramid that afflicts our country and above all our region. Furthermore, with integrated home care and thanks to innovative technologies, the home can become the first, and also the best, place of care for many patients. The community house can truly become a flagship of innovation, technology, public and universal health. For this reason, the Democratic Party has fought and will fight at all levels to ensure that the structure is built and is functioning in the shortest possible time: supporting public health is in the DNA of our party and represents one of the biggest discriminations between us and the right. Talking about social issues and healthcare means talking about needs close to the needs of citizens and for this reason for us the Community House is the real House of the people: not the house of celebrations, but the House of health”.
“For this reason, alongside the Democratic Party of Argentario, the provincial federation has lined up, with the health delegate Rodolfo Bassi, the maximum institutional representation has lined up thanks to the presence and contribution of the Honorable Marco Simiani and the regional councilor Donatella Spadi, medical director even before being a member of the health and internal areas commission in the regional assembly, who also brought her professional capacity and awareness to the political path – goes on the statement –. The event was created thanks to the collaboration between the delegate to the national assembly of the Democratic Party, Lauretta Bianchi, and the local secretariat of Guido Dubbiosi and Veronica Bracci. To vindicate the will and tenacity of the work, the former mayor Franco Borghini took to the field, recalling when his council worked on this work. Taking advantage of the occasion, Borghini also outlined some of the political initiatives undertaken during his mandate, especially those requested by the Democratic Party. The presence of citizens and representatives of associations operating in the social and healthcare sectors, doctors and pharmacists who, with their interventions, created a highly attended moment of questions and answers, moderated by Matilde Giovani. The Honorable Simiani, in his work of listening and synergy with each territory represented, once again expressed a sign of particular attention towards us. The honorable member explained the relationship between public works and Pnrr, ranging between current events and his activities as a parliamentarian thanks to his role as group leader in the public works commission and secretary of the commission on eco-mafia”.
“We are proud of the event and its success: we have once again dug the gap between the Democratic Party and other parties in choosing the battles to fight – ends the note -.
