SUM LOMBARDO – New Rodari schools: phase two. This morning – June 3rd – I am officially selective demolition operations have begun on the building in via Villoresi. This is the key step that will then lead to reconstruction from scratch of the Somma Bassa elementary school. Intervention financed above all thanks to funds intercepted in the Pnrr context, as far as it is considered one of the most important works included in the political agenda of the Bellaria council.
Off to phase two
The first phase of the intervention began last February, with the clearing of the internal rooms of the school. Then, on March 6, the construction site was handed over to the company. Now the new step: this morning the workers were at work demolishing part of the structure. It is, in fact, a selective demolition. A necessary procedure, as already explained the councilor for Public Works, Edoardo Piantanida Chiesa: «This is what is foreseen by law in the Pnrr – he said – each material must be disposed of and separated according to appropriate procedures”. The expected time to complete the operation, based on this type of procedure, is six months.
The accounts of the work
The definitive project for the demolition and reconstruction of the school foresees a total amount of 8 million 500 thousand euros. Of these, the Pnrr contribution covers 6 million 69 thousand 849 euros. While one million 85 thousand 150 euros it is supported with the administration surplus. Additional 538 thousand euros they arrive with the GSE, therefore with the thermal account. Finally a was lit mortgage of 807 thousand euros with Banca Popolare di Sondrio.
