Thousands of Bari ultras march against timeshare

(ANSA) – BARI, JUNE 01 – A procession to contest the management of the Bari football club was organized by the fans of the Curva Nord of San Nicola who demonstrated today in the city center – thousands according to the organizers – with banners, chants and smoke bombs to express their dissent with respect to the presidency of the de Laurentiis family, and hope for the end of the timeshare season: the red and white company belongs to the Filmauro of the De Laurentiis family, primarily owners of Napoli. The procession was opened by the banners “Bari against timeshare” and “Beware of this”, followed by fans who chanted slogans calling for a change in ownership. The ultras also made an appeal to the business world to overcome the current situation. Bari concluded the championship by saving themselves from the play outs with a surprising 0-3 victory at the Liberati against Ternana, after a season of ups and downs, which began with the club’s commitment, then disregarded, for an ambitious tournament. In the next few days the club’s management will address the most delicate issues for next season: the identification of the sporting director (the current Ciro Polito has been the subject of strong criticism for the poor performance of the squad) and the selection of the new coach, with which to start the purchasing campaign.
