MASSA LOMBARDA: IMPORTANT INITIATIVE BY AUSER
The Municipal Administration donated a parchment for the daily commitment of the 47 volunteers
In Massa Lombarda, in the central Piazza Matteotti, the seven vehicles that AUSER has made available to the citizens of Massa over the years were displayed on Saturday morning to offer a precious and daily service to those who could not reach polyclinics and social and healthcare facilities on their own.
The event was attended by the prefect of the province of Ravenna Castrese De Rosa, the municipal administration, law enforcement forces, local police, two classes of the Salvo D’Acquisto school in Massa Lombarda who were reached by the greeting and gratitude expressed by the municipal president of AUSER Angelo Guardigli, before the blessing of the new vehicles by the parish priest Don Pietro Marchetti.
Prefect De Rosa praised the civic, social and moral commitment of the volunteers before proceeding to award the prize to 47 AUSER volunteers from Massa Lombarda, who were given a parchment by the Municipal Administration.
Thanks to the contribution of various sponsors, Massa Lombarda is equipped with seven means of transport which represent a real flagship of the area and, probably, the highest percentage present in the various municipalities in relation to residents.
AUSER stands out in Massa Lombarda for many other services. For example, “Emergency Medicine”, i.e. the distribution of medicines at the homes of those who could not receive them in any other way, the guarding of parks, exhibitions and the garrison in front of schools.
