Supporting the pro loco associations and their unions registered in the regional register, which contribute to the tourism promotion of the territories is the objective of the resolution approved by the Regional Council on the proposal of the Councilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion of the Lombardy Region.
ECONOMIC INVESTMENT – The overall financial endowment amounts to 750 thousand euros.
TYPE OF BENEFIT – The regional subsidy is granted in the form of a non-repayable grant as a contribution, without reporting constraints. The amount of the contribution granted amounts to 2 thousand for each beneficiary, which may be redetermined based on the size of the requests.
BENEFICIARIES – Recipients of the benefit are the pro loco associations and their unions registered in the regional register on 10 September 2024. Each association is entitled to only one contribution.
IN LOMBARDY 213 PRO LOCO SUPPORTING TERRITORIES – “The 213 Pro Locos registered in the regional register of Lombardy are an important point of reference for tourists who want to discover the authentic traditions of our territories. Supporting them therefore means acting at the basis of the territorial tourist offer – comments Barbara Mazzali, Councilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion of the Lombardy Region -. The Pro Loco are modern ‘compasses’ towards the major attractions of the local communities, from which, at the same time, they collect the tourist offer and disseminate it, also through digital tools, in collaboration, for example, with the regional tourist portal In-Lombardia ”. Today, the councilor concludes, “the Pro Loco are also fundamental in the context of the promotion of our unitary regional brand ‘Lombardia Style’, of which they can be the first ambassadors, concretely presenting it in their offices, at events and demonstrations”.
