Last May 31st, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 78th Anniversary of the Italian Republic, in the cloister of the Prefecture of Matera, the Prefect, SE Cristina Favilli, awarded the honor of Knight of the Order “For Merit of the Italian Republic” to the vice president of the Order of Psychologists of Basilicata, Dr. Maria Antonietta Amoroso.
Great pride was expressed by the president of the Lucanian Order, Dr. Luisa Langone who underlined:
“The precious one presence and great professionalism of Dr. Amoroso, they honor us.
We built with her important paths for colleagues and actions to support the community.
This recognition strengthens the conviction to proceed along this path, supported by the great experience of the vice president”.

“Dr. Amoroso, vice president of the Order of Psychologists of Basilicata, He has held various positions with professionalism and competence as a psychologist and psychotherapist.
Among the first registered in the register of psychologists of Basilicatawithin which we have constantly spent on promoting the profession and training its members.
Commitment in the social sphere is precious and meritoriousthrough initiatives that have seen Dr. Amoroso involved in the issues of raising awareness against gender violence and prevention of pedophilia against minors.
He has promoted many social inclusion interventions in favor of immigrants and for the protection of human rights.”
