This is the invitation that the MigliorRe group, made up of traders, artisans and residents of the hexagon, address to all the citizens of Reggio Emilia, to those who, like them, would like a safe, clean, lively center to frequent day and night. evening, throughout the week.
After Piazza San Prospero, where a press conference was held, and Piazza del Monte, where the MigliorRe group had organized a sit-in, it is the turn of Piazza Prampolini, at the Preo bar on Wednesday 5 June at 7.30 pm, in an ideal circuit between the squares of the historic center, a symbol of aggregation and sociality.
“A moment of meeting – say the organizers – and of exchange, to get to know each other better and share points of view, opinions, but above all a moment of ‘celebration’, to be together and savor the pleasure of coming to the centre”.
Anyone who wants can bring an idea for the historic center to be placed in an urn during the aperitif. All the ideas collected will flow into proposals for the new municipal administration.
“Traders and residents are abandoning the hexagon. – they say – We need to reverse course and intervene immediately. We believe it is urgent that the next administration envisages serious and concrete interventions to restart activities and reactivate the urban fabric. As a group, we are available to open a dialogue with those who will have to decide to point out the problems and difficulties we face every day and to seek solutions together, implementing projects that involve all the realities that give life to our historic center”.
The MigliorRe group was born spontaneously from people who live, work and frequent the historic center of Reggio Emilia every day and found themselves tired, disheartened and saddened by seeing their city slowly ‘losing pieces’.
