6 athletes from the team complete the Italian Iron Master circuit
Double important news for the Aqa company. The first is the confirmation of regional champion of Calabrian companies. The second concerns six athletes of the company who succeeded in completing the Italian Iron Master circuit
Aqa champion. AQA asd confirms itself as regional team champion in the splendid setting of the Olympic swimming pool in the city of Cosenza. With almost 85,000 points it surpasses CS Gabbiano Paola, second with just over 45,000 points, and ASD Anzianotti Nuoto, which completes the podium with around 38,000.
Many excellent performances by AQA athletes despite the objective difficulties in competing outdoors for the first time in the season and in the 50 meter pool! Despite this, the work of the AQA technicians allowed the athletes to face this challenge with the right attitude. “We could talk about splendid individual performances with extremely high times, but today it was a team race and team spirit is fundamental in sport because it encourages collaboration, mutual support and sharing of objectives. Team success often comes from the ability to function as a cohesive unit, surpassing individual achievement. Therefore, today AQA won even more, being a team won, above all the spirit of mutual friendship won”, the protagonists wanted to reiterate.
The Iron Master circuit.
Six AQA asd athletes completed the Italian Iron Master circuit on the day which establishes the supremacy of their club in the Regional Team Championship.
On the day of the victory of the AQA asd of the regional team championships, in the splendid setting of the Olympic swimming pool in the city of Cosenza, Andrea Caputo, Willam Savino, Alessandro Tassone, Domenico Umbrello and the incomparable twins Davide and Sergio Zicarelli, all athletes of the triumphant club , have completed the national Iron Master circuit. The circuit consists of trying out different styles and completing all eighteen lap swimming competitions in the competitive season. The competition is extremely challenging and aims to test strength, endurance and aquatic skills. Facing difficulties requires determination and preparation, the latter excellently conducted by the AQA asd technicians, so much so that three of them are among the six mentioned Iron Masters. However, what makes this challenge unique is the strong sense of friendship between the participants and the many AQA “Survivors” who accompanied the irons in this swimming season in the pool. “Supporting each other, as happens every day among AQA athletes, made the experience even more special and rewarding,” the univocal voice.
