Elena Vittoria Sinico and Elisabetta Tagliati: the two wandering writers from Mirandola and Novi – SulPanaro

MIRANDOLA, NOVI – A friendship that has lasted for years, consolidated by common passions: writing, travel and culture.
From here the idea of the ‘Lady Writers Tour’ was born: a journey that combines the promotion of one’s books with the discovery of the beauties of our country.

A coast to coast itinerary that developed over three regions: Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria.

The book by Elena Vittoria Sinico, an author from Mirandola, is entitled “Il Ritratto”. The novel touches on different genres: detective story, historical, romance and fantasy and tells the story of Caterina Soavi, in parallel, between a past that takes place in the France of Louis XIV in Versailles and a present that sees her in Mantua at the end of the second millennium . The past comes back to take revenge on her, but not without asking for nothing in return.

Elisabetta Tagliati, singer and author resident in Rovereto s/S, presented two volumes that make up the “Saga dell’Abisso” (Beyond the Abyss and Tears of Eternity) from which she drew, together with the composer Perry Magnani, an opera rock.

The novels are set in the Celtic era in Italy and are the transcriptions of dreams, which followed one another for a few months, having a clan leader as the protagonist. The result is a fantasy that winks at esotericism, dealing with themes such as love, contact with nature, responsibility towards one’s people and spirituality with a very intimate touch.

After having already participated in some book fairs and having made several presentations together, the two authors decided to undertake this tour, spurred by the interest shown by bookshops and cultural spaces in central Italy. Specifically, in Grosseto at the Mondadori Bookstore in via Aurelia Antica and Libreria Quanto Basta and, subsequently, in the ancient village of Calcata, at the “Grotta del Nulla”, managed by Alberto Bazzani from Modena, founder of the “Castello di Gusciola Eventi”.

The tour was widely followed on social media, through the profiles of the authors: on Facebook the pages Elisabetta Tagliati and Oltre l’Abisso.

The stages covered a broad time span ranging from the 7th century BC to the present day: the Presences of Naturaliter, or the Giants of Peccioli, the Cistercian Abbey of San Galgano, Grosseto, Monte Argentario, with the main locations and the Fortress Spanish, the Archaeological Area of the ancient Roman city of Cosa, the Tarot Garden, a pleasant discovery made of colors and sparkling mirrors, the Etruscan Necropolis of Monterozzi of Tarquinia, the Castle of Santa Severa, with its imposing profile that silhouetted against the sea of Santa Marinella near Rome, the medieval village of Nepi, Calcata, considered the town of artists par excellence, perched on a tuff spur and surrounded by greenery,
the Sacred Forest of Bomarzo, with its famous stone monsters, Villa Lante in Bagnaia with its lush gardens and Villa Farnese in Caprarola, which leaves the visitor enraptured with its sumptuous frescoed rooms, the medieval villages of Casperia and Narni, the waterfall delle Marmore, with its 165 meters of height, Spoleto and Castelluccio di Norcia, famous for the flowering of lentils.

The authors returned with a wealth of experience and many new contacts and proposals for future events: waiting for the next Lady Writers Tour! The books are on sale on Amazon and all online stores and can be booked at bookstores.
