In the 17th minute Belotti tries to take the ball but Carnesecchi anticipates him. In the 19th minute Biraghi’s cross goes out, Nico Gonzalez arrives on the ball and makes it 2-1 with a post goal behind Carnesecchi. In the 32nd minute Scalvini free from the edge of the area, the defender goes to the conclusion and surprises Martinelli, 2-2 in Bergamo. In the 34th minute Viola dangerous with Gonzalez who crosses from the back, Toloi messes up a bit but then clears. In the 42nd minute Ruggeri shoots from a good position but only finds the outside of the net. In the 44th minute Gonzalez scores for Ranieri, the defender scores but is offside. In the 46th minute Fiorentina takes the lead again, scrum in the area on Beltran’s fouled conclusion, the ball ends up with Belotti who scores his brace.
The first opportunity is for Atalanta, De Ketelaere goes to the conclusion, the ball just far from the target defended by Martinelli. Dea close to 3-3. In the 47th minute Belotti comes on for Ranieri who fails to anticipate Carnesecchi. In the 48th minute, an excellent vertical from Quarta for Duncan who widens instead of trying the shot and kicks towards the outside of the net, thus devouring the 4-2. In the 48th minute the ball was cut inside by Holm for Koopmeiners, Martinelli closed low. In the 53rd minute, Holm’s lopsided shot. In the 54th minute Lookman puts it in for Pasalic who comes in tow. In the 55th minute Lookman and Holm out, Scamacca and Miranchuk in. La Dea increases the pressure to find the equalizer, Miranchuk sends Quarta to the bar with a right-left and goes for the conclusion which ends up just wide. In the 66th minute Castrovilli goes out, Kouamé comes in. In the 72nd minute Biraghi’s deep ball goes to Nico who tries to head past Carnesecchi who is forced to send the ball into the corner. Much more Atalanta than Fiorentina in this second half, Fiorentina trying to defend and restart. In the 74th minute De Ketelaere came out, Touré came in, Toloi came out and Djimsiti replaced him. In the 75th minute Quarta gets the first yellow for the foul on Touré. In the 76th minute Infantino and Ikoné are in, Duncan and Beltran are out. In the 82nd minute, bad news for the Dea and for Italy, Scalvini stops and puts his hands on his face in pain. He limps out due to injury, Hateboer replacing him. In the 85th minute Ranieri was booked for a foul on Scamacca and will be disqualified for the first match of the next championship. In the 87th minute Barak and Faraoni are in, Nico and Kayode are out.
