Federico Riva fought for victory in Stockholm (Sweden), where the seventh stage of the Diamond League. The blue has looked for the coup on 1500 meters (for the occasion it was a side race, therefore not valid for the maximum international traveling athletics circuit), trying to emulate the success achieved on Tuesday evening in Ostrava as part of the World Continental Tour (gold level).
The Lazio player has finished in third place with a time of 3:33.87, making a good comeback in the final lap, now his trademark. Ossama Meslek finished in sixth place in 3:34.69, two hundredths better than the seasonal time of May 19th at Bungertstadion.
