With a rich calendar dedicated to women, from tomorrow to Sunday the Municipality of Isola del Piano will become the new protagonist of the 50X50 Capitals squared Pesaro 2024 project, which will make every municipality in our Province the capital for a week. “The title of the week is ‘The rural woman’, starting from our roots we will talk about young entrepreneurs also from the agricultural world with a series of events that will alternate throughout the year” says Giuseppe Paolini, mayor of Isola del Piano.

The first events to mark on the diary will be tomorrow at 5pm, in Piazzetta Asta for the opening ceremony. At 7pm a walk will start from the historic center of Isola del Piano: an immersive journey through history and poetry organized by the Pro Loco. We move on to Tuesday when the protagonists will be the primary school children who from 2pm to 5.30pm will flood with ‘Marathon of emotions. Sound Relay at the Annunziata Auditorium. Same place but at 7.30 pm the public will be able to meet the Argentine artist Romina Tassinari within the exhibition ‘Le Lunatiche. Women in relationship with the moon’. A musical show couldn’t be missing, in fact, on Wednesday at 9pm, in Corso Garibaldi it will be all music with ‘Furrows in the air’, followed by everyone at 10pm for a maxi DJ set.

A special week with special guests such as Vandana Shiva who will address a dialogue on rural women, biodiversity and the future of the planet in the Montebello Monastery on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm. For nature lovers on Friday there will be the opportunity to take part in an ecological walk which will start at 6pm at the ‘Il Podere’ sales point; then, everyone was invited to a tasting of Girolomoni organic pasta. Almost ten events for the weekend starting from a truly delicious Saturday with many proposals ranging from ‘breakfast under the oak’ at 8am in the Agriturismo dei Mori’ and an aperitif at the Locanda Girolomoni on Sunday at 6.30pm. Concluding the week will be the Olimpia Orchestra at the Montebello Monastery with a ‘Farmer’s Notturno’. Then, closing dinner at the Locanda Girolomoni (by reservation 0721 720126).
