On May 28th, the State Police of Forlì-Cesena arrested a man, in the act of violating the provisions dictated by the Special Surveillance Prevention Measure, imposed by the judicial authority on the proposal of the Police Commissioner. The incident arose from the check carried out by a police car which at 3.50 stopped a car traveling at high speed in Viale Bolognesi. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was burdened by the measure of special surveillance, notified four days before in the Police Headquarters offices, with a ban on staying in another municipality and the requirement not to leave the home from 9.00 pm to 7.00 am.

Upon further inspection, the operators ascertained that the car did not have insurance coverage or inspection, and that the man’s driving license had expired a month ago. Finally, taking into account the symptoms of alcoholic intoxication displayed, the man was accompanied to the local Traffic Police Section, to be subjected to a breathalyzer test, which however the man refused to submit to.

In light of what was ascertained, the man was arrested for violating the prescription imposed by the special surveillance measure, and reported for refusing to be tested for alcoholic intoxication; finally, administrative sanctions were imposed against him for violations of the highway code. During the trial with very direct rite, the arrest was validated, with judgment postponed due to the request for a deadline for the defense presented by the arrested person’s lawyer.
