After the opening with the shows of Enrico Brignano in Reggio, Stefano De Martino in Cosenza, Ron in Praia a mare, Louis Strangis in Lamezia, Music Facts 2024the 38th edition of the historic Live d’Autore Prize Festival conceived and directed by Ruggero Pegna getting ready for the summer highlight. As usual, it involves taking place in numerous places of excellence Calabriachosen every year for their cultural and landscape assets, the suitability of theaters and spaces and the synergy with the various Municipalities.
The musical wave of Music Facts in this edition it will touch on splendid locations characterized by the presence of extraordinary people Castles, exceptional historical-cultural assets of which Calabria is rich, many of which are usable and in perfect condition. As is also known, the format of the prestigious record-breaking festival, both for audience attendance and for the quality and quantity of events, presents and rewards in various sections some of the most anticipated live shows with the Silver Hedgehog of the famous Crotone goldsmith Gerardo Sacco, another distinctive sign that links the entire project to Calabria.
All ready to San Giovanni in Fiore for the live performance of Ron, which will be the June 23 to the Florense Abbey Theatre with free entry by will of the mayor Rosaria Succurro. On June 28th the great singer-songwriter and his band are expected on Corso Numistrano Lamezia Termealso here by will of the Municipal Administration.
The July 24, Music Facts presents one of its historic and unrepeatable events in Calabria: al Theater at the Castle of Roccella Jonica the exceptional live sui arrives Pink Floyd of the legendary founder and musician of the legendary British band, Nick Masonaccompanied by a super band composed of Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet), Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd), Lee Harris (Blockheads), Dom Beken (Transit Kings). The extraordinary concert, in line with other prestigious previous exclusives of the Festival, from Sting to Tina Turner, from Santana to Elton John, has the patronage of Presidency of the Calabria Region and is part of the events of the promotion project Extraordinary Calabria.
August 3rd we will move to Reggio Calabria for the live performance of Iramaamong the most popular names in new Italian author music, highly anticipated in the splendid setting of Piazza Castello.
Still the same magical location of the Aragonese Castle August 9th for the live show full of special effects Gabry Pontethe king of world dance who is making all of Italy explode with enthusiasm on the occasion of his 25 years of success.
In the wonderful Capo Rizzuto Island two live shows with free entry are planned, also here by will of the Municipal Administration: that of Ron on August 5th in Piazza Santuario and the live performance of Dargen D’Amico on August 8th in the enchanting setting of The Castellashome these days to some sets of the new one Sandokan.
Sunday 11 August the appointment is with Sergio Cammariere and his band in Ancient village of Santa Severinain the province of Crotone, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in front of the imposing and evocative walls Norman castle which you can visit with your concert ticket.
Music Facts 2024 will end with a rich autumn/winter session: Grease the Musical 23, 24 November at the Politeama Theater in Catanzaro And 25, 26 November at the Cilea Theater in Reggio Calabria; Then from 20 to 22 December again at the Politeama Theater in Catanzaro great closing with Alisthe spectacular Le Cirque Top Performers Grand Gala with stars of Le Cirque du Soleil.
Further confirmations of events being defined are expected in the coming days.
