The city of Ravenna, next September, will host four masterclasses for young musicians, dedicated to the piano, violin and guitar, with teachers of extraordinary artistic and educational value who will be involved in events that will enrich the entire event.
The masterclasses will be accessed through specific selections whose aim will be to award scholarships to the most deserving students who will thus be admitted to attend a high-level specialization course.
The project is promoted by Capit Ravenna, Associazione Musicale Angelo Mariani, Ceroni Piano School and benefits from the support of: Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna, Fondazione Ravenna Manifestazioni, Ministry of Culture, Emilia-Romagna Region, Municipality of Ravenna Department of Culture.
VENUE AND DATES
The masterclasses will take place in the Corelli Hall of the Alighieri Theater in Ravenna (via Mariani 2), in the following periods and with relevant teachers:
2 – 4 September, Olaf John Laneri, piano
5 – 7 September, Alessandra Ammara, piano
9 – 11 September, Stefan Milenkovich, violin
12 – 14 September, Piero Bonaguri, guitar
PARTICIPATION
Participation is open to young Italians and foreigners – aged no more than 30 years old at the deadline of the announcement – who request it by 20 August 2024 by sending the appropriate registration form, which can be downloaded from the Mariani Association website www.angelomariani.org
