CORIGLIANO-ROSSANO – Success for the tenth edition of “Bimbi in Bici” in the city of Corigliano-Rossano. On Sunday 26 May 2024, after the gathering in Via Nazionale at Scalo di Rossano, the long bike procession, with the presence of numerous children and parents, traveled along Viale Luca De Rosis, Viale Sant’Angelo and Viale Mediterraneo until reaching the “Rino Gaetano” amphitheater at Lido Sant’Angelo on the Rossana coast.
Here, routes for children were created, implementing all the procedures of the highway code complete with road signs, and the delivery of various gadgets to all participants.
The event took place in complete safety, thanks to the presence of the Municipal Police, the Rossano Moto Club, the Rossano Vespa Club, the ANPS (National Association of State Police) of Corigliano-Rossano and the Fiat 500 Club. The health service, instead, it was guaranteed by the volunteers (with men and means) of the Italian Red Cross of the Corigliano-Rossano Committee. Domenico Orlando, promoter of the initiative, was particularly satisfied with the success of the event in the city.
Orlando himself then wanted to thank the municipal administration for its patronage, its staff, the ASD Sportland Club Rossano, the press officer and reporter Antonio Le Fosse, Eng. Gennaro Diaco for having created and coordinated the safety plan, the various associations that collaborated in the creation and conduct of the sporting event, the various sponsors, but also those, adults and children, who participated, with great enthusiasm, in the event.
Orlando then wanted to deliver some recognition plaques to the municipal administration, to Eng. Diaco, to Reporter Antonio Le Fosse, to the Municipal Police, to the Red Cross and to the various local associations. She spent a day, without engines, full of fun and respect for the environment. Finally, the appointment is next year with the eleventh edition of “Bimbi in Bici” in the city of Corigliano-Rossano.
