Italian State Railways communicates to users changes to the circulation of Trenitalia Regional trains for the infrastructure works scheduled by 10 June until 8 September 2024 on the Battipaglia – Potenza – Taranto line and from 10 June to 14 December on the Foggia – Potenza line.
Here are the changes in detail:
From the 10 June until 14 December all regional trains of the Foggia – Potenza relationship are canceled in part or for the entire route to allow preparatory works for the electrification of the line.
Bus rides are scheduled.
From the 10 June until 8 September all regional trains of the Salerno – Potenza connection are suspended to allow the adaptation of the General master plan and speed-up in the Picerno, Eboli and Bella-Muro plants.
Bus rides are scheduled.
The seats available on buses, which will increase their travel times also in relation to road traffic, may be lower than the normal service offered.
It is therefore advisable to consider replanning your trip.
