In the Paglieroni district of Treglio, in the premises of the Paglieronese Association, on the occasion of the second appointment of the May “Vision-Arte” exhibition, an exhibition of cartoons by the Frentano graphic designer and humorist Tommaso Di Francescantonio, who passed away, was inaugurated on the evening of 30 May 2024. in August 2023 and who in recent years had been particularly close to the cultural initiatives of the Paglieronese Association and the Municipality of Treglio.

The tribute follows the one that was paid to Tommaso Di Francescantonio last week by the Cantina Sociale Frentana of Rocca San Giovanni which, on 25 and 26 May during “Cantine Aperte”, created an exhibition of thirty cartoons by the designer.

The exhibition at the headquarters of the Paglieronese Association of Treglio will remain open until Sunday 9 June and can be visited in the evening hours. The Honorary President of the Association Orlando Bellisario, curator of the “Visual Arte” exhibition, wanted to underline the importance that the association intends to give to the valorisation of the activities of local artists in whatever artistic activity they express themselves. To this end it obtained full mandate from the members’ assembly held at the same time as the inauguration of the exhibition, on the following program: “With the historical research also published on the FB page “Le Questioni del Treglio” we have demonstrated the importance and beauty of the recovery of the historical memory of the country, in the coming years we want to expand this experience to enhance the activities of painters, graphic designers, designers, sculptors and artists of every sector, because art must not remain closed in the personal and intimate experience of artist, but it must be offered to the public in order to provide food for thought and debate and enrich us all.”
