The conference entitled “Technology at the service of the Territory”, organized as the final event of Art in Negotium, an exhibition spread among the commercial activities of central Carrara, was conceived as a moment of reflection and comparison, to understand if technologies, following a precise territorial planning strategy, can have a supporting role in the relaunch of the city. Thanks to the contribution of local protagonists and experts at a national level, the theme of guaranteeing the authenticity and origin of products will be addressed during the Conference, both to protect artistic productions and artisanal and industrial ones linked to the Made in Italy manufacturing sector. Italy, We will talk about physical marking systems and digital infrastructures, and how the joint use of these technologies can prevent fraud. The conference was sponsored by the Municipality of Carrara and the North West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce which, for the occasion, granted the use of the spaces free of charge.
