A scholarship sends four Venezze talents to Stanford

Music speaks more than words, communicates more than languages, in this case, connects Rovigo with Stanford, California. Yesterday afternoon, as part of the “The Conservatory plays in the gallery” event at the La Fattoria shopping centre, the four students of the Francesco Venezze Conservatory of Rovigo were presented who, as winners of the first scholarship offered by the La Fattoria shopping centre, they will fly to the United States for a week. Jacopo Borin, Camilla Masin, Alberto Zongaro and Alessandro Fraccascia they are the young students who arrived in the top four at the auditions organized by the Conservatory, thus winning the trip overseas.

“It’s a great opportunity that allows kids to get to know other realities and exchange experiences, knowledge and music”, he commented enthusiastically. Professor Daniela Borgato.

Professor Stefano Romani remarked: “Our students, spending a week in contact with the orchestra of Stanford University, one of the most prestigious, will also be able to see and understand the ways of making music of their American peers, music is a language that unites. After the presentation of the scholarship by the director of the Farm, Marco Cavallaro, the afternoon continued on the notes and the rhythms of the percussion of the Venezze students in Professor Cinzia Honnorat’s class, which cheered the public and animated the galleries of the shopping centre. But the music doesn’t end here: always at the Farm, in fact, on Saturday 1st June, from 4pm, it will be the turn of the accordion musicians from Professor Mirko Satto’s class, in collaboration with the “Armonia” orchestra of Treviso. Another great opportunity to listen to young musical talents.
