Another appointment in Forlì for European market. The second, after the 2023 edition was canceled last minute due to the flood disaster. From May 24th to 26th The international event of FIVA Confcommercio therefore returns to the squares and streets of the center, a showcase of artisanal refinements and food and wine delicacies from the Old Continent and from all over the world.
The event, promoted by Ascom FIVA Forlì and FIVA (Italian Federation of Street Vendors) Confcommercio, sponsored by the Municipality of Forlì, will count the presence of over 80 exhibitors, located mainly in Piazza Saffi. The organization has worked to present a profoundly renewed staff. Many confirmations, some of which have already been seen in 2022. Just a few examples: typical Sardinian, Brazilian, Mexican gastronomy; English ceramics; Spanish paella; biscuits from Brittany; always from France tea, spices and infusions; honey from the Alpine valleys; Bronte pistachio specialties; bamboo scarves and Austrian speck. But the spotlight will be focused above all on the “new arrivals”, some of which are absolute novelties also for the FIVA circuit. And therefore: amber and silver from the Baltic, truffles and mushrooms from the Marche, technical/sports mountain clothing from France, sesame-based products (halva and tahini) and finally an arrival from Scotland (kilts, scarves, leather crafts) .
Offers of all types that make the European Market a project that starts from the heart of Europe and heads straight towards internationality. Global flavors and colors in the stands open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to midnight (Friday from 6pm to midnight). Thanks to this festive and colorful invasion, for three intense days the streets of Forlì will present themselves as a world in miniature: a cosmopolitan square where not only the flags of the Old Continent will fly – Austria, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Holland, Spain – but also international “guests” from other continents.
