More security and controls in the city and on the seafront, both day and night. The new timetables of the Municipal Police arrive in Quartu which, after yesterday’s approval from the Municipal Council, will have to follow new timetables. The news after the approval of the regulation governing shifts and new provisions.
The agents, in addition to the usual time slot of coverage of the external security service and the Operations Center from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week, the Command will now be able to arrange for the extension of the service to the evening and night time slot from 1 June to 30 September and during the Christmas and New Year holidays, from 1 December to 8 January. A novelty that meets the greater safety needs of citizens and which also goes hand in hand with the recent provision of weapons and training cycles in which the agents were previously involved.
«The working hours of Municipal staff who participate in external services or at the operations centre, even if not assigned to the same services exclusively, are divided into two daily shifts for five or six working days per week», we read in the Regulation just updated. This shift system, already applied to the daytime slot, will be extended to the nighttime slot.
