On the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch, to allow paving works, the section between the connection with the A8 Milan-Varese and Besnate will be closedin both directions, as indicated below:
On the three nights of Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May from 9.00pm to 5.00am – the section between the connection with the A8 Milan-Varese (km 0+000) and Besnate (km 4+) will be closed 000), towards the A26 Genova Voltri-Gravellona Toce.
Alternatively, it is advisable to exit at the Gallarate station earlier, at km 29+900 of the A8, take the ordinary road network: SS33 del Sempione, SP26, SP49 until you reach the Besnate station, to enter the D08 Gallarate branch -Gattico; anyone who passes the Gallarate station will have to continue on the A8 towards Varese and will be able to exit at Solbiate Arno, at km 35+700, get onto the SP26 and enter the Gallarate-Gattico branch at the Besnate station. Consequently, for those traveling on the A8 and coming from Milan or Varese, the connection branch on the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch, in the direction of the A26 Genova Voltri Gravellona Toce, will be closed.
Alternatively, the following itineraries are recommended: for those coming from Milan, follow the alternative itinerary indicated for the closure of the section; for those coming from Varese, in consideration of the simultaneous closure on the A8 Milan-Varese, of the Castronno-Solbiate Arno section, towards Milan, those coming from Varese will have to exit at Castronno and will be able to enter the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch at the Besnate station.
ON THE TWO NIGHTS OF THURSDAY 30 AND FRIDAY 31 MAY, FROM 9.00pm to 5.00am
-the stretch between Besnate (km 4+000) and the connection with the A8 Milan-Varese (km 0+000), in the direction of the A8, will be closed. It should be noted that Besnate station will be closed on entry in both directions, A8 Milan-Varese and A26 Genoa Voltri-Gravellona Toce.
Alternatively we recommend:
to close the section, after the obligatory exit at Besnate station, continue on SP49, SP26 and SS33 to Gallarate station; for the closure of the Besnate station entrance, towards the A8: Gallarate on the A8; for the closure of the Besnate station entrance, towards the A26: Sesto Calende Vergiate, on the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch. The “Verbano est” and “Verbano Ovest” service areas will be closed, located in the stretch between Besnate and Sesto Calende Vergiate, respectively towards the A26 Genova Voltri-Gravellona Toce and in the direction of the A8 Milan-Varese, according to the following programme:
-from 8.00pm on Wednesday 29th to 5.00am on Thursday 30th May, the “Verbano est” service area will be closed;
-from 8.00pm on Friday 31 May to 5.00am on Saturday 1 June, the “Verbano Ovest” service area will be closed.
