VITTORIO VENETO – Sunday 26 May the first edition of the Trail For Lisa, a non-competitive hilly run and walk in memory of, will be held in Vittorio Veneto Lisa De Gasper, who passed away two years ago due to a sarcoma. A great sports and mountain enthusiast, Lisa, after overcoming breast cancer, wanted to organize a trail in the hills of Vittorio Veneto to draw attention to the importance of scientific research in the medical field.

Family and friends, gathered in the association Friends of Lisa ETShave picked up the baton and are carrying forward his project: last year’s 0th edition attracted over 600 participants including athletes and lovers of hill walking, who with their presence testified to the value of the research.

Trail For Lisa 2024 It is divided into two routes: orange of 8 km with a positive difference in altitude of 400 metres, green of 15 km with a positive difference in altitude of 850 metres. The departure is scheduled, respectively, at 9 and 9.30 from the Episcopal Seminary of Vittorio Veneto, a few steps from the Ceneda Cathedral. In addition to a day of sport, Trail for Lisa aims to be an opportunity to raise awareness and information on rare tumors and the importance of palliative care, thanks to the presence of the staff of the Primary Care and Palliative Care Service of Vittorio Veneto and the Institute Oncologico Veneto of Padua to which, as in 2023, the proceeds of the event will be donated.
