Soon the purchase of a third horse
Legnano – A few days before the Palio di Legnano 2024, for the Giglio stable, close to Contrada San Domenico for over ten yearsproviding a good part of the horses that defended its colours, achieving two victories in 2013 and 2019, some news is coming. The announcement was made at the end of a meeting held on the evening of Tuesday 21 May in the Manor of Via Bixio.
“About ten green and white friends have joined the Scuderia del Giglio“, explains President Carlo Donadoniannouncing that the number of members has now risen to around thirty members, including three women “very passionate”. “But not only that, with this entry – goes on –we have also acquired one of their horses which will be included in the list of those we will take to the Palio on Sunday. Storm Part, Khorgos are the two horses of the stable trained by Luciano Vitabile, held in Bellinzago Novarese, which will be used in the Palio”. Furthermore: “it has already been decided to also purchase a new horse, at least as a main handicap, in order to have a crackling season on the racecourses”.
