The journalist Galetti writes it. 7-year contract with a higher salary than what he receives in Naples. But Chelsea has to make some sales.

Victor Osimhen is increasingly far from staying in Naples. The teams that have made the most concrete moves for him so far have been PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United. The Nigerian is pushing for a transfer to England, with the Blues having placed him among their priorities for next summer.

Osimhen said yes to Chelsea, but Napoli doesn’t want to make any discounts

According to what was published by journalist Rudy Galetti on teamtalk:

Victor Osimhen wants Chelsea, even if Mauricio Pochettino isn’t there. The management knows that the club needs to make a huge investment to strengthen the attack, and the main target remains the Nigerian center forward. Osimhen has already given his availability for a possible move to Chelsea; they should only embroider the salary, since the blues are willing to give him an expensive salary and the contract would be for 7 years. So far, Napoli have been adamant that they do not want to reduce the price of the clause, nor the payment in installments. At the same time, Chelsea must make an outgoing transfer market to be able to afford the Nigerian.

The blues had tried to put Lukaku in the counter to lower the price

Gazzetta dello Sport writes it with Vincenzi D’Angelo.

Chelsea is willing to include Lukaku’s card in the offer to be presented to Napoli for Osimhen, who would instead leave without having to discuss with Aurelio De Laurentiis in exchange for the payment of the release clause of around 130 million euros. Money that Chelsea could invest, but then still find themselves dealing with the Lukaku problem. And then, today both Chelsea and PSG would like to negotiate with Napoli to try to lower the clause so as not to be forced to pay the sum due in a single solution. De Laurentiis, as mentioned, would still have the problem of looking for a new center forward. Of course, Lukaku has a high salary but already at Roma he has lowered his demands and receives less than Osimhen (net…).
