The Lions Prato Castello dell’Imperatore rewards young musical talents

Prato 21 June 2024 – An evening of friendship and beautiful jazz music took place at the Pavoniere Golf and Cuntry Club in Prato, on the occasion of the handover between the outgoing president of the Lions Club Prato Emperor’s Castle Lucia Livatino and the new president Amalia Viscanti. The very young talent performed in front of the large audience of members and friends who came for the occasion Mauro Fuschi, who has just finished his penultimate year of high school and is studying jazz piano in Verdi Music School of Prato. The evening’s service was dedicated to him, with which the Prato Lions intends to support the learning path of this particularly deserving young man. The director of the Verdi Music School presented his training path to the public before the performance Paolo Ponzecchi. “This year our Club celebrated 30 years of activity – explained the president and past Governor of the Lions District 108LA Toscana Lucia Livatino – and our main services to worthily celebrate this anniversary have been a consistent contribution to Saint Vincent de Paul Society, which works in the field of social hardship; the restoration of the works of the new exhibition hall inaugurated on Praetorian Palace Museum, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the reopening of the Museum, and the fundraisers to combat the disaster that hit our territory following the November flood. In thirty years of activity – concluded the outgoing president -, considering only the financial contributions, the Club has provided 550,000 euros, in addition to field services and opportunities for in-depth analysis of the needs and excellence of the area.” Among the various illustrious guests, those present at the evening were past Governors of the 108LA District of Tuscany Daniele Greco, Marco Busini and Fabrizio Ungaretti.
