Primavera 2 / Playout – Grande Alessandria: Burruano, Jarre and Guzman knock out Crotone

OUTGOING – Excellent performance from Mauro Guaraldo’s team. All the goals came in the second half, Voncina’s penalty in full injury time leaves the qualification question open

Mauro Guaraldo’s Alessandria won the first leg of the Primavera 2 championship playout in a big way. The grays beat Crotone 3-1, a good advantage ahead of the return leg, scheduled in a week. After a goalless first half, but with three excellent chances to their credit, Alessandria took the lead fifteen minutes into the second half with Burruano, doubled their lead in the 25th minute with Jarre and found the hat-trick in the 45th minute with Guzman, as soon as he entered the field. It’s a shame for the 3-1 penalty, which came in full injury time, converted by Voncina, which leaves the qualification question open.
