Civitanova Marche, the State Police presented the “My Diary” school agenda 2024/2025

The State Police in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit and the support of the Ministry of Economy and Financehe presented the new edition of the school diary “My diaryintended for 50,000 students of future fourth grade classes of some provinces of the national territory.

The school agenda presents itself as a tool to support teaching in the training of tomorrow’s citizens and aims to through content and simple language, to bring young citizens closer to the culture of legality, providing a contribution in education to respect the rules and values ​​of civil coexistence.

To date the project, now in its 11th edition, made it possible to reach over 630,000 students from public and private schools. This year the diary will be distributed in the provinces of Agrigento, Alessandria, Avellino, Catanzaro, Cremona, Foggia, Macerata, Parma, Perugia, Prato, Treviso and Trieste.

Protagonists of the agenda they are the superheroes of legality Vis and Musa who, with the help of their four-legged friends Lightning and Lightning, the parrot Gea and the kitten Cosmo, they will accompany the young students during the school year with their adventures through which the themes are addressed of health, of sport, of caring for the environment, of social inclusionroad safety education, correct use of the internet and social networks, but also of the most common phenomena of juvenile deviancesuch as bullying and cyberbullying.

Wineskin to friends of the State Police, also appears among the interpreters the well-known character of children’s literature Geronimo Stiltonwhich will in turn offer important value and entertainment contributions.

For the edition dedicated to the 2024-2025 school year, in addition to the themes that have formed the structure of the diary for years, the topics that the Ministry of Education and Merit has included in the Civic Education subject programs will be addressed: the Constitution, sustainable development and digital citizenship.

In this perspective “My diary” can represent also an effective educational complement for teachers and parents and for State Police personnel engaged daily in the area in legality education activities.

At the national presentation ceremonyhosted by presenter Daniela Gurini, which was held yesterday morning at the “Marche International School” Institute in Civitanova Marche (MC), attended by the Minister of the Interior, Prefect Matteo Piantedosi, the Prefect of Macerata Isabella Fusiello, the Police Commissioner of Macerata mpaolo Patruno and the Founder of the “Marche International School” Institute Dr. Iginio Straffi who hosted the event , President of Rainbow, creative excellence of Made in Italy in the world.

The diary was delivered to a representation of 400 students.

The Director of the School Office spoke Provincial Prof. Stefania Nardinirepresenting the Ministry of Education and Merit, and the writer Elisabetta Dami, president of “Geronimo Stilton Foundation”.

Also present were the athletes of the Fiamme Oro of the State Police, the athlete Maria Centracchio, bronze in judo at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, e the paralympic athlete Edoardo Giordan, silver in the team épée at the European Championships in Paris 2024 and the former footballer and now coach Francesco Montervino.

An exhibition area was set up in the Institute that hosted the event with the Camper Azzurro, the Lamborghini Urus of the Traffic Police, some historic cars of the State Police and the Fullback of the Scientific Police. The students witnessed the joint performance of dog teams and bomb disposal teams.
