Dimaro Folgarida (Trento) – Eleven days of training with free entry to the SKI.IT ARENA, two friendly matches, a series of events starring the team and the Neapolitan artists and then the traditional holiday offer of Val di Sole. This is the summary of the withdraw SSC Napoli 2024 to Dimaro Folgarida (11 – 21 July) whose official presentation at Palazzo Petrucci, in Posillipo, brought together Trentino and Abruzzo for the first time with the “Neapolitan debut” of the president of the autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti flanked by Maurizio Rossini (CEO of Trentino Marketing)Luciano Rizzi (President of Apt Val di Sole) e Andrea Lazzaroni (Mayor of Dimaro Folgarida). The president of SSC Napoli will do the honors Aurelio De Laurentiis. Also on the stage of the talk show press conference was the Governor of Abruzzo Marco Marsilio with Angelo Caruso (mayor of Castel di Sangro) and around a hundred journalists from local and national newspapers in the audience. “It’s my first time in Naples and I wanted to be present at this event with friends from Abruzzo – began Maurizio Fugatti -. In recent years, a strong bond has been born with President De Laurentis’ club and with the fans, not only on a sporting but also promotional level. Today SSC Napoli is the most renowned club among the 15 AB and C series that hold their pre-season training camp in Trentino, an area suited to holiday opportunities linked to the mountains, the environment, nature, relaxation and increasingly activity sporty. Sport is in our DNA, we have always been at the top of the rankings as the sportiest local area in Italy. It is no coincidence that we host the Sports Festival also as a significant vehicle of attraction for young people, also on a tourist level. The practice of sport is today an important tool for personal growth on a social level and a unique educational opportunity. On a competitive level, I want to mention the recent victory of Trentino Volley with the conquest of the volleyball Champions League and, remaining on the football theme, the presence of president Mauro Giacca of Trento in Serie C. The new path for the new stadium in Trento has recently begun, which could be a further resource for Napoli’s retreat in Dimaro”.
Maurizio Rossini framed the retreat as part of the actions carried out by Trentino marketing aimed at promoting mountain holidays among young people.
“A good relationship was born with President De Laurentiis’ company precisely in the wake of the theme of holidays in the mountains which until a few years ago was unattractive for young people. With intense targeted promotional actions and also using champions, not just football, as testimonials for a fun and experiential holiday, we managed to bring kids back to the mountains. Napoli has therefore allowed us to also reach the many fans who live in the cities of Northern Italy and Central Europe, starting with Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Slovenia. But let’s not forget that Napoli Clubs operate all over the world, on five continents. In the next few days we will create robust communication to support the retreat”.
Mayor Andrea Lazzaroni nhe had no doubts in defining Napoli’s withdrawal”the biggest summer event in Trentino. Dimaro Folgarida is ready for this new appointment. It snowed at high altitude last night but the town is already warming up for July. We are working to complete the works on the gym (included in the new school complex – ed.) built next to the Carciato Stadium and allow the team to be able to train indoors. Over the next few years we will certainly be able to realize other projects. Dimaro is a small mountain pearl and we are working to make it more and more attractive”.
Val di Sole, land of sports and outdoor holidays. This is the underlying theme of President Apt’s speech Luciano Rizzthe. “After the record attendance recorded in the winter we now look to the next few months: the SSC Napoli training camp will be preceded from the stage of the UCI MTB World Cup (13 – 16 June) and the ICF River Canoe World Cup (20 – 23 June). You will be able to move freely throughout Trentino, by train and bus, visit museums, castles, fortresses, naturalistic sites and access spa centers to taste the mineral waters. The card is available to all guests of Val di Sole at a cost of just 2 euros per day, but is worth over 10. Children up to 12 years of age are free if accompanied by 1 adult”. The only condition is to stay in the affiliated accommodation facilities”.
