“It is not easy to understand the future for producers who are not part of the big production houses – adds Azzollini, who is also national president of Confartigianato Cinema e Audiovisivo – We must preserve our creative ability, there is a lot of talk about Made in Italy, we must also valorise it from a cinematic point of view. The draft of the new law on tax credit, which is circulating, although not definitive, requires having a contract with the top twenty film distribution companies, a condition which would significantly penalize smaller producers, who would be excluded from the benefits.
