Music outside after 1am. Sting for “Brewbay House” pub on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II which will have to work for a month to guarantee outside service.
The inspection by the municipal police was carried out on February 17th. That day at 1:20 am in the room an electro-acoustic system was used for the amplification and sound diffusion of musical pieces, operating through two acoustic speakers hanging on the walls of the room, a console and a mixer and a mixer/amplifier connected to amplify music played from a tablet.
The entrance door, during the observation and inspection phases (which lasted 35 minutes), was continuously open and therefore the music was perfectly audible outside, in the concession area.
Thus the decision of the offices of the Department of Productive Activities was to suspend the concession for 30 consecutive days starting from 3 February to 4 March 2025 inclusive, establishing that during the sanction period “the concessionaire must remove all furnishings and which does not occupy the same space in any way, either directly or through its customers”.
A measure similar to that taken for the “Binzas” restaurant, in via Sardegna, in front of which on 12 April at 7.32 pm, the municipal police found the public land occupied (in front of the ruins of the church of Santa Lucia) by 16 chairs and 8 tables, on a surface area of 7.2 m² which differs from the authorization document which envisaged an occupation of 6.82 m² with a maximum attendance of 5 seats in the external area. In this case the stop to the concession (and therefore to the possibility of serving drinks outside) was 6 days (from 10 to 15 April 2025 inclusive).
