Four days of celebration will frame the Gran Trail Courmayeur, ready to start again this year. This is new, consisting of a range of new events not to be missedscheduled at the foot of Mont Blanc, from July 11th to 14th. The name Mont Blanc Trail Fest, by VDA Trailers, includes conferences, training sessions, activities for children and families, shopping and an entire Village, in the heart of Courmayeur, to discover stands dedicated to materials, brands and all the latest news from the trail world running.

The Village is made up of exhibition stands of the brands that have long accompanied and supported the event and the trail world: La Sportiva, Kailas, The North Face, Otso Sport, 226ERS, Shokz, Hyperice and Phoenix Recovery Club.

The spaces of the Village will present the latest innovations in materials and products to be discovered, including innovation and technology, and at the service of runners, athletes and trail enthusiasts, but not only. This area will remain open until Sunday 14 Julythe closing day of the event, and audiences of all ages and sporting levels will be able to discover curiosities, relax, chat and pass the time.

Training with MassaggiaTORs

Mont Blanc Trail Fest is also training. Saturday 13 July the Courmayeur Congress Center will host, from 9am to 6pm (registrations from 8am) on theoretical-practical course for MassaggiaTORrun by Dr Marco Patacchini, medical director at Premium Medica and specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. The course will delve into the overuse/fatigue/stress pathologies that runners encounter during races, with an explanation of the treatments that can be performed on athletes during the race, as well as insights into the main musculoskeletal pathologies.

They won’t be missed insights into psychological and fatigue pathologies found in previous editions of the TORX. From theory we will then move on to practice with tests of treatments and bandages with particular techniques developed and born during the TORX competitions. At the end of the course, anyone who wants can go to the final life base of the GTC 100km to put what they have learned into practice. The places available for the course are 200 and 100 places will give the right to 8 ECM credits.

The “La Sportiva” tests

Among the partners of the Mont Blanc Trail Fest, La Sportivafor this occasion, offers a range of activities to discover new productsbut above all to be together through appointments open to all.

Friday 12 July, at 10 o’clock, we start with the free Prodigio e shoe test at 11 we will start with the “Morning Run, a ride of about an hour around Courmayeur open to all levels. Registrations will be collected at the La Sportiva stand in the Village. Participants will then be offered an aperitif upon arrival, scheduled for 12pm.

Saturday 13 July we continue with the free Prodigio shoe test at 8 am and, followed at 10, space for the “Follow GTC Activity with La Sportivaa walk for families starting from Courmayeur to intercept the race routes, in collaboration with the Society of Alpine Guides of Courmayeur.
