The councilor of Basilicata Casa Comune, elected in the recent regional consultations: “Lucanian healthcare placed under commissionership with Bardi attempting reckless maneuvers to conceal the disaster”
POTENZA – “If a politically friendly government, such as that of the centre-right which has just reconfirmed Bardi, is forced to place the Lucanian healthcare system under commissionership, while appointing the regional president himself as commissioner for the approval of the budgets to be repaid by the healthcare companies, it means that our healthcare problems are at least as big as the lies our governor told us during the election campaign.”
This is what councilor Angelo Chiorazzo of Basilicata Casa Comune, elected in the recent regional consultations, says.
“In fact, at the helm of a Council in prorogatio – continues Chiorazzo – a series of financially reckless maneuvers are taking place to put the dust of the healthcare debt under the carpet of current management. President-commissioner Bardi, after having committed the money from the social fund and that of the oil companies to cover the deficits, exactly as we had predicted, finds himself having to counteract the doubts of the national technicians on the fact that the compensation funds, which would accrue in the future, can be considered ‘liquid and collectible’ as required by the regulations and is urging oil companies to be willing to make transfers in advance, exposing themselves to the request for who knows what compensation. Furthermore – adds Chiorazzo – we are thinking of slimming down the 2023 financial statements by moving matches to the management of the current year, clashing with the fact that a regular end-of-year budget should photograph a factual situation, and not a plan. Reason why expenses and spending commitments are not questionable: either they happened or they didn’t happen.”
