Il Caos di Terni, Centro Arti Opificio Siri, joins the Night of Museums 2024 with the extended opening on Saturday 18 May until midnight.

Night in Chaos For the occasion, the Aurelio De Felice Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the two temporary exhibitions will remain open to visitors: The Bauhaus girls and the Margarete Heymann case, exhibited in the Carroponte Room, and Emotional Distances by Piero Mottola, exhibited in the Ronchini Project Room .

Art With over 150 works – mostly ceramics, metal objects and fabrics of the time – The Bauhaus Girls celebrates Margarete Heymann, one of the first women enrolled at the Bauhaus art school and an illustrious ceramic designer. Furthermore, some lithographs by Vasily Kandinsky are on display which are part of the permanent collection of the Aurelio De Felice Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The exhibition is curated by Carlo Terrosi.

Costs Full ticket: 10.00 euros. Reduced price for students: 8.00 euros. Reduced student groups: 5.00 euros. By showing the entrance ticket to the exhibition at the B-Side – café, cocktail bar and events room of the Caos museum complex – you will have access to a 10% discount on food and drinks.

Performance Emotional Distances by Piero Mottola, edited by Pasquale Fameli, is divided into three levels, enhancing aspects characterizing Mottola’s research: the visual one, represented by the Chromatic Articulations, the installation one, represented by the Map of 10 emotions which reproduces Voices and the performative one, thanks to the video documentation of two concerts, Voices of Lives, performed at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome in 2022 and Voices Argentinas 2023, presented at the Bienalsur in Buenos Aires in 2023. The exhibition explores the relational and emotional possibilities of sound through analysis based on empirical data, collected in direct contact with users. From the combination of these data the artist creates
visual works, sound installations and performances.
