MetaCarpi triumphs, third consecutive promotion for Carpi Frisbee

The golden streak for Carpi Frisbee continues. MetaCarpi have in fact recently achieved their third close promotion with the three teams of the Heron sports cooperative. In 2023 it was the women’s team that led the way in reaching the top division. A few months later, the mixed team (men and women together) had also won Serie A by beating Rimini. Only the boys remained, protagonists this year of a triumphant ride towards the victory of Serie C as undefeated, with the best attack and the best defense and with a day to spare. In the final against Discover of Verona, MetaCarpi won 15-11, leaving the Venetians with the small consolation of having been the only team capable of finishing the match in double figures. A trio of consecutive promotions for the Carpi club and the Heron sports cooperative, definitive confirmation of the incredible work carried out by the club and its athletes for the development of this discipline in the area. After Bologna and Rimini, now European capitals of Ultimate Frisbee, it seems that this new sport is finding fertile ground even in the smallest municipalities and that Carpi could apply to have a central role in transforming a niche sport into a source of national pride.
