It will be a festive weekend in Denno thanks to “Den among the doors”the traditional one Festival of Saints Gervasio and Protasio which will animate the village from tonight, Friday 14 Juneuntil Sunday 16 June with sporting events, shows, music, good food and lots of fun.
The Denno festival is a sacred celebration for all the inhabitants of the town, which commemorates the patron saints and which has always manifested itself as an occasion for togetherness and celebration.
THE “doors” of noble courts and “faces” they therefore become the scene of engaging initiatives that combine food and wine moments and tasting of local products with socio-cultural activities such as shows and sports-recreational workshops.

The intent is to promote popular tradition rediscovering the flavors and rhythms of the past.
But this event also has the meaning of collaboration he was born in create community by the population and the voluntary organizations involved.
In fact, behind all this lies a lot of hard work that began in the month of January and which involves many local associations, led by the Pro Loco.
The start of the three-day celebration is scheduled for tonight, Friday 14 June at 7pmwith the opening of the door of Youth Group and the kick-off of the inaugural match which will kick off the football and volleyball tournaments dedicated to the memory of Stefano Dalpiaz and Adelio Santucci.

From tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 15 Junethere will be many events for adults and children: workshops, indoor cycling, karaoke, cheese making, tastings and artistic exhibitions.
All while waiting for dinner in the suggestive “pòrtej” with typical menuswithout forgetting the baby dance and the ballroom dancing with Leonardo Bort and his accordion in Piazzetta San Giovanni.
At 9pm the Italy-Albania European Championship match will be projected on the giant screen set up at the door of the Youth Group, followed by DJ Tano and Luca Mas.
The historic center will host Sunday morning the traditional market fair and the library’s used book market. At 9 there will be the procession, followed by the mass of Saints Gervasio and Protasio and then by guided visits to the churches of San Pietro and Sant’Agnese. Lunch, of course, in the “pòrtej”.
The afternoon will be animated by various activities: sports proposals and workshops, Firehouse and artistic performances. There will be baby dance, face painting, karaoke and music.
After dinner, in Piazzetta San Giovanni there will be the ballroom dancing with maestro Lucianowhile in via Ossanna there will be the prize-giving ceremonies for the football and volleyball tournaments.
The weekend of celebration will conclude with the proclamation of the “best door” in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.
