Livorno 17 May 2024 – Entrance to the museums of Livorno is 1 euro for the Night of the Museums
On Saturday 18 May the Museum of the City of Livorno and the G. Fattori Civic Museum will join the European Night of Museums: on this occasion, from 7pm to 10pm, it will be possible to learn about the extraordinary heritage of Livorno at the reduced rate of 1 euro.
Saturday 18 May
City Museum at 7.00 pm two free guided tours will be held, one in Italian and one in French – thanks to the involvement of the French-speaking communities of Livorno through the Accessible Culture desk – on the new layout of the Contemporary Section and on the exhibition Nicola Vukich (1972 – 2023) “In memory”.
Giovanni Fattori Civic Museum at 7.30 pm it will be possible to participate in the free guided tour dedicated to the museum collection, with a small in-depth look at the cycle of allegories by Adolfo Tommasi, of which three of the four paintings that compose it were recently exhibited.
The European Night of Museums is an initiative promoted by the MiC (Ministry of Culture) sponsored by ICOM (International Council of Museums) and takes place simultaneously throughout Europe with the aim of encouraging and promoting knowledge of cultural heritage.

City Museum
guided tour at 5.30pm with focus on Giulia Napoleone at a cost of 2 euros (in addition to the entrance ticket).
Reservations are recommended for all guided tours.
