Anger and pain in the words of those who knew Samuele Fuschi, the man who lost his life in the accident that occurred in Viale Regione Siciliana in Palermo. The thirty-nine year old, who leaves behind his wife and four children, was on his way to work when the tragedy occurred: he received a small subsidy, but some odd jobs allowed him to support his family. His friends describe him as a man who never backed down, who, despite his difficulties, was not discouraged.
«Bound to his children and his wife – says Giovanni – he lived for them, he would have done anything to make sure they didn’t miss anything and after so many sacrifices, his life ended like this, due to a hole. We are all broken.” Many travel daily along that stretch of road where a plaque has already sadly been placed in 1989. Remember Gaspare Polizzi, who died at just nineteen following another accident that occurred in the same spot.
