Alessandro Nesta new coach of Monza. On the day of remembrance of Silvio Berlusconi, who died a year ago, comes the announcement of the new coach who will replace Raffaele Palladino who will be the coach of Fiorentina.

Alessandro Nesta will be the new coach of the red and white First Team, with an annual contract plus automatic renewal for another season upon reaching certain conditions.
Born in Rome on 19 March 1976, he grew up in the Lazio youth team where he became captain and flag, winning 1 Scudetto as well as 2 Italian Cups, 2 Italian Super Cups, 1 Cup Winners’ Cup and 1 European Super Cup.
On 31 August 2002 he made his historic move to Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani’s AC Milan, where in ten years he confirmed himself as one of the strongest defenders in the world and won ten titles.
An incredible cycle of triumphs with 2 Champions Leagues, 2 European Super Cups, 1 Club World Cup, 2 Scudetti, 2 Italian Super Cups and 1 Italian Cup.
In his rich palmares as a footballer there is also the 2006 World Cup won with Italy, for which he boasts 78 appearances.
His coaching career began in the summer of 2015 at Miami FC. After two years in the United States, he returned to Italy in May 2018 to coach Perugia in Serie B.
In the summer of 2019 he started with Frosinone, which he led to the Serie B playoff final.
His constant growth led him to the bench of Reggiana, where in the season just ended he led the newly promoted Emilian team to an excellent eleventh place in Serie B.
At Monza he reunites with Adriano Galliani after ten wonderful years at Milan, for his first experience as a coach in Serie A.
Of note is the ceremony at the Monzello Sports Center, inaugurated by Silvio Berlusconi in 2022. From today it bears the name of Silvio and Luigi Berlusconi; inauguration in the rain in the presence of Monza CEO Adriano Galliani.
