The wait is over, there F1 lands in Italy with the Imola GP, seventh stage of the world championship of the season. First appointment of the two scheduled in the Bel Paese, with the race at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari autodrome which precedes the most awaited one in Monza (scheduled for the weekend between the end of August and the beginning of September), where Ferrari will try to get some satisfaction after the last races with many ups and downs. A Red that will arrive in Emilia Romagna with several new features on the SF-24the first package of updates on the cars of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, with the aim of catching up with McLaren and dreaming, above all, of positive results in the race for the two titles against Red Bull.

A brand new Ferrari in Imola

Imola dresses up for F1, with many events scheduled with the FuoriGP, to entertain the fans on and off the track. If the events in the Bologna area will entertain the hundreds of thousands of fans, the two single-seaters driven by Sainz and Leclerc will have to test themselves on the track, who have the objective (as well as the dream) of giving the Red fans a victory on home soil.

They will also try with the help of the new, and first, SF-24 upgrade package, a series of improvements that aim to make Ferrari more competitive and performant. This is the largest, including the bottom, reversed inlets, new bodywork and modified bellies, but also minor changes to the front wing, rear wing and the various aerodynamic appendages around the cockpit.

The main part of the updates is undoubtedly the bottom, entirely redesigned, with the lower part of the car body having been adapted accordingly. Following the development line introduced by Red Bull, Maranello also reversed the entry of the radiator outlets, an extreme solution that was supposed to arrive later in the season but which thanks to the work of the engineers it was possible to bring forward. Engineers who could soon welcome a high-level new entry.

News which, as mentioned, aims to make Ferrari more competitive. An SF-24 which, in the hands of Sainz and Leclerc, can give the fans the most awaited joy.
