A morning of dialogue and study alternating with musical interludes, stories, testimonies and theatrical monologues to investigate violence against women in all its forms: physical, psychological, verbal, social and economic

The Student Parliament of Tuscany this morning in the event “In-Visible Bruises” at the Cinema The Compagnia di Firenze brought together hundreds of young people from Tuscan schools to reflect together and discuss gender violence.

Focus on gender gap, hostile language, stalking, abuse, femicide.

A morning dedicated to construction of a new gender culturein which young people first of all engaged in fight against indifference and to the silence that surrounds women who experience violent dynamics, relationships and contexts.

After the greetings of the president of the Regional Commission for Equal Opportunities of Tuscany and the spokesperson of the president of the Tuscany Region with responsibility for youth policies, the Professor’s interventions alternated on stage Matteo MazzoniDirector ofTuscan Historical Institute of the Resistance and the Contemporary Age who reflected together with young people on the role of woman in twentieth century society: the women victims of the war, the women protagonists of the Resistance and the women committed to their self-determination and emancipation, the first vote on 2 June 1946, the 11 women of the Constituent Assembly, mothers of the Italian Constitution who worked hard for peace and freedom .
