Also this year the second city fourball-in tournament at the Pala Chierichetti, Via Ariosto 1 in Busto Arsizio. The contestants will introduce themselves Saturday 18 May from 9.00 to 13.00.
They will participate 5th grade students representing the sprimary schools Tommaseo, De Amicis (Bossi), Pascoli and Negri/Rossi, that they will meet with 2-half matches lasting 15 minutes.
In recent months, the students have carried out training under the guidance of a coach from the Alto Milanese amateur sports association, continuing it with their physical education teachers.
The Fourball-in is a derivation of fourball with simpler game rules, suitable for boys and girls aged between 9/14 years.
The purpose of the gameinvented by Professor Quattro who lives in Busto, requires that the players of the two teams involved (six for each team) must puntor throw an oval ball into the circle placed vertically at a height of 3 meters passing the oval ball with one hand like in American football, excluding, however, physical contact typical of this sport.
The project is sponsored by the Department of Educational Policies in collaboration with the Department of Sports of Busto Arsizio. The event will be open to all while places last.
