CIVITAVECCHIA – We receive and publish: Alessio Gatti launches the SOS: get out of the metropolitan area immediately. “As long as the province was there we had a serious interlocutor (beyond those who administered it) and things were done and generally maintained” says Alessio Gatti, candidate for the city council with the United List for Civitavecchia-Poletti mayor.
“There were problems then too – continues Gatti – but there is no comparison with today. There isn’t just one reason to stay in the metropolitan area, there are many to say yes to the new province.
I mention only two because for me they are the ones most felt by citizens. The provincial roads that compete in terms of instability and inconvenience, especially with two wheels, with those of the most bombed areas.
The school buildings (those belonging to the metropolitan area) which are in total abandonment and which in several places have practically lost any wall or perimeter delimitation which also creates a safety problem”.
“The new Porta di Roma province must be born as soon as possible – concludes Gatti – and definitively put an end to the dependence on Rome and the Metropolitan Area which in its current state is a useless armchair factory that has produced nothing to improve the quality of life of citizens”.
