The 2004 tender “Regional contributions to support the design of irrigation and/or reclamation infrastructures for the sustainable and efficient supply and management of water resources in agriculture within the territory of the province of Alessandria” is now open, with an endowment finance of 400 thousand euros.
The regional tender is aimed at reclamation consortia and irrigation consortia that manage regional irrigation districts, irrigation bodies that manage canals belonging to the state property or heritage of the Piedmont Region, and is aimed at encouraging the creation of a Piedmontese project park to be included in the national DANIA database (Database national of investments for irrigation and the environment).
The projects must:
to. be strategic for the irrigation district of reference;
b. be quickly ready for construction;
c. guarantee the sustainable and efficient management of the water resource, such as to allow adequate planning and programming of the resource itself;
d. contribute to the protection of the territory and the fight against hydrogeological instability.
