The author of the writing on the façade of the Royal Palace of Caserta is an 18-year-old of North African origin. The rapid investigations carried out by the Flying Squad and the Flying Squad of the Caserta police headquarters made it possible to identify the author of the love dedication, with black spray paint, and to report him to the judicial authorities.
The episode occurred during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. Around 2am the flying squad agents intervened in Piazza Carlo di Borbone to reconstruct what happened. The investigations, launched together with the Flying Squad, both of a technical and informational nature, and also based on the analysis of the Palace’s video surveillance systems, it was possible to identify a young man, who escaped with an electric bicycle.
The boy, who had recently come of age, was identified and traced to his home and taken to the police station for the ritual procedures. In the end, he was reported for defacing the artistic property, recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
