Opportunities for 280 Unemployed – AcquavivaLive.it

The Puglia Region has launched three free training courses for 280 unemployed Apulians between the ages of 34 and 50, with the aim of training cybersecurity specialists, digital tourism operators and automated logistics operators. This initiative is part of the ‘Digital Empowerment for placement’ project, supported by the Fund for the Digital Republic – Social Enterprise within the PNRR. The courses, organized by the Spegea Business School, Consorzio Mestieri Puglia Scs, Politecnico di Bari and Confindustria Bari and BAT, will begin at the end of June and will last 15 months.

To provide all the necessary information and present the training courses, a tour has been organized that will stop in Martina Franca, Gioia del Colle and Altamura. The courses, lasting 500 hours each, will include theoretical lessons, project work, workshops and courses aimed at enhancing the skills of the participants and encouraging their job placement in the company.

At the end of the courses, a matching activity will be developed between the trained profiles and Apulian companies active in the logistics, online commerce and tourism sectors, as well as with the numerous companies that face growing needs in terms of IT system security . The initiative aims to respond, at least in part, to the need for IT skills for Puglia, estimated at three thousand resources per year.
